Styling A Tiered Mesh Dress By Baum Und Pferdgarten – SALE ALERT!

In this post I am styling a tiered recycled polyester mesh midi dress “Jocelina” by Baum und Pferdgarten. It is one of my all-time favorite fashion brands and I am pleased to see them using more recycled and organic materials.

The dress that I am wearing has a lovely retro-feel houndstooth (aka pied-de-poule) print in brown and navy. It comes in a fashionable midi length that also feels nice and easy to wear.

I already had an eye for this dress when I was shopping online for a client in 2020 and finally scored in summer sales for half the price. Tap on the back for a good sale shopping job!

It’s been a huge favorite of mine and I wore it late in the autumn with opaque tights and a big sweater. You can imagine my delight when I saw the style coming back for spring-summer 2021 in brand new stylish prints!

Mesh fabric gives me strong 90’s vibes. This used to my go-to material for cute party dresses and tops. It made great holiday packing because it’s so lightweight and super low maintenance.

I am so happy to see mesh back in fashion again. Especially the new recycled material gets my vote. I like to endorse brands that make an effort towards a better future.

More About The Mesh Dress

My dress is tiered and the top is fitted. It’s true to size and I am wearing a medium M. I recommend wearing a smooth bralette or a top under it for a little body contouring.

The material is recycled polyester mixed with a little elastane for added wearing comfort. It feels super soft and it’s really low maintenance, which is really my thing!

I just wash mine with a quick cold cycle and hang it to dry. No ironing is needed, which is a big plus in my style books. You all know by now that I hate ironing but I also hate wrinkly clothes, so I need to choose my materials well.

How To Style The New Version Jocelina?

I styled my dress with a summery navy espadrille wedge and a chunky chain necklace for the summer but this dress works for spring time with a sneaker or a sleek ankle boot.

The new crew neck version of the same tiered mesh dress by Baum und Pferdgarten dress is called Jocelina. The old name with the V-neck is Julianne. Both are fabulous but I really like the higher cut on the neckline and might have to get the new version as well.
