✨ Back to school season aka la rentrée for all the Francophiles out there. September is that magical time of the year when everyone returns to work after summer vacation with exciting stories. It’s a fresh new start for everyone and it feels like just about everything is possible again!
I find September always a very busy time with a lot of social gatherings, so plan a few lunch and after work outfits in advance to stay chic while getting used to early mornings and that blissfully simple everyday life again.
✨ This month is also the definite end of summer sales. Finally. If I see one more heavily discounted festival outfit, I swear, I’m going to scream. I’ve been longing for deeper textures, luxurious materials and more body coverage. I am dreaming about rich hues of chocolate, cognac, teal and bordeaux. In many ways, autumn fashion is simply the best, don’t you think?
✨ September’s most important style note is new fall fashion collections rolling in shops, despite the weather not supporting the vibe, like at all. But if you’re anything like me, you’ll sneakily find yourself dreaming of chunky knitwear, sturdy boots and luxurious big coats. Early fall collections often have wonderful pieces that take you effortlessly into the new season, so they are definitely worth the browse.
